Some helpful information about what goes on during these mission trips:
Monday - Friday
- Each morning breakfast at the hotel.
- Followed by Fire School (entire missionary team)
- Fire School is teaching, impartation, activation …
- Fire School is where you receive Biblical instruction, and are filled up and fired up, so you can go into the field on fire and ready to give.
- Street Ministry
- Smaller teams are formed and dispersed to different areas.
- Door to door ministry, street ministry - could be villages, neighborhoods, even block housing.
- This is where you get hands on training and opportunity to minister.
- Evangelism and Humanitarian gifts.
- Dinner/Supper (really later lunch, or super early dinner – depends on how you look at it 😊)
- Teams are redistributed and sent to various churches around the area.
- Services could be at a more formal/traditional church setting, OR they could be open air, OR anywhere in between.
- Opportunity to minister both to the church, and impart to them.
- Typically ministers are selected (they will do the service) and a team goes with them to support (support in prayer lines and ministry, physical and spiritual support)
- Sleep (as much as you can before doing it again tomorrow)
- Saturday
- Crusade
- Crusades are typically open air, large setups with a stage and a focus on the gospel to the lost (salvation and healing).
- Final preparations for crusade:
- Everything on Saturday revolves around the crusade (so forget everything about the M-F schedule 😊)
- Final crusade prep may mean that some hands/skills/gifts are needed, and it may mean that there is some down time for others.
- During the crusade event:
- teams support with hands on ministry as directed
- Teams support in other ways as directed
- Crusade
