When you begin to connect at DCI, you will experience some natural (and good) growth. You will connect with other believers and their families, you will learn and grow from the combination of worship and the messages you participate in each weekend. That is part of the EQUIP-ing portion of our mission. But also included is the opportunity for focused and purposed growth.
It all starts on Sunday, and we realize that everyone's time and energy may vary in different seasons of life. But we are purposeful when it comes to imparting to you what God has shared with us to give. EQUIP-ing at DCI has three different aspects:

Classes & Groups
At DCI, we currently offer a handful of classes and groups throughout the year. The length of the classes and groups usually last approximately 9 weeks (semester). Some are practical and some are obviously more spiritual. As you connect at DCI, you will hear us promote the start dates and topics of upcoming classes and groups. Plug in if you can! Participating in these classes and groups are a great way to grow! Some topics could be: marriage, parenting, believer basics, Financial Peace University and more. We are always looking to offer courses that move the needle in our/your lives.
My Journey
My Journey is a self-paced EQUIP-ing track that we have created to help plot the course for those looking to grow. It is a six step track that is comprised of sermons, books, videos, (optional) classes, and action steps that we believe will help EQUIP every believer in a manner similar to Boot Camp. You won't know it all at the end, but you will know enough about enough things to set you up for success on the rest of your Journey.
Serving
Participating in ministry will stretch you. You will grow. It doesn't matter if the ministry you participate with opens doors, pours coffee or prays. You will meet new people (in a way that only happens when you rub shoulders) but you will also learn some practical skills that will further EQUIP you to be an asset to the Kingdom, no matter where you are sent. We appreciate all of our volunteers because of what they bring to the table, but we also take the opportunity to serve with you seriously because we know that there is so much potential for you to walk away EQUIP-ped. In fact, "doing" is part of the process. What type of cooking school would ever "teach you to cook" and then not let you do it?
DCI Kidz, DCI Youth & DCI YA
We have a specific passion to EQUIP our kiddos and young adults in ways, manners and language that they not only understand but enjoy! When we say church should be fun, we mean for everyone...not just the adults! Don't mistake DCI Kidz or DCI Youth as childcare or some other social club, these students are being EQUIP-ped!
