Pastors Ron & Pam Stribling have been given a mandate to reach this generation and equip them with the knowledge and the resources they need to become self feeding, fully devoted followers of Christ.
Pastor Ron Stribling is an engaging and dynamic speaker who uses humor along with positive, attention grabbing messages to present life changing principles that are easy to understand and apply. He has a Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree from Logos Bible College and a Masters of Theology from Central Christian University. After many years of pastoral ministry, the first 16 years in Jonesboro and Fayetteville, GA, and now in Jacksonville, NC, he is more convinced than ever that the church must be culturally relevant and meet people exactly where they are. He is passionately persuaded that church can be creative, entertaining, and powerful at the same time. Discovery and its unique style is a product of that passion.
Pastor Pam Stribling is a North Carolina native. She is a former professional photographer and co-founder of one of Jacksonville's premier studios, Pineapple Photography. Today, along with her ministry at Discovery, she is a professional interior designer and owner of Mela Interiors. These life experiences and unique talents provide her a lens by which to see others through and help them arrange their lives in a way that displays God's goodness and beauty. Her keen insight, engaging personality, and no-nonsense style enable her to deliver uncompromising messages of faith and hope in a truly transformational way.
Leadership
Like a clock Discovery functions as a result of numerous working parts-many behind the scenes. These parts (or ministries) function as a direct result of faithful leaders and voluteers.
The picture to the right displays many of the faces that help make Discovery what it is by leading either one of our growth, care, or support ministries. As with any group it is challenging to get everyone together at one time and therefore the picture is missing a few.
