The Youth Group at Discovery

When & Where
The Youth Group at Discovery meets each Wednesday evening from 5:30-8pm @ Discovery.

What to Expect
From approx. 5:30 to. 6:15 is set aside for socializing.  The cafe' is open which offers drinks, snacks, and some type of dinner item (pizza, subs, or chicken sandwiches).  At 6:15 we break the ice with a short activity which is then followed by a practical and relavent lesson.  From 7:00pm we break, the cafe' reopens and for the remainder of the event we socialize and/or engage in some semi-structured activities. 

Same Coin, two sides
At Discovery our youth is divided between 2 groups. Senior Youth (High School) and Junior Youth (Middle School).  For most youth groups the Juniors and Seniors are not separated.  However, during certain events, lessons, or activities they may be at times.

Dancing in the Rain
In the event of rainy weather our post-lesson activities remain indoors.  One of those activities involves turning our stage into a dance floor.  Submit a song or a list of music and artist via e-mail by e-mail sterling at sterling@discovery-church.net  and ensure your jam is included in our next sesson.
