Coffee Casual
Often the first step in getting connected to a local church is meeting the Senior Pastors.  Our Coffee Casual, held once a month after service at 11:45am, is just the place to do it.  Our Senior Pastors Ron and Pam Stribling would love the opportunity to break the ice in a casual environment.  Our next Coffee Casual will be August 29th.  If you have any questions feel free to contact our offices at office@discovery-church.net.  Hope to see you there.


On Track (formerly Growth Track)
We encourage all those at Discovery to go through our OnTrack courses.  Discovery's OnTrack is divided into four classes: 101, 201, 301 and 401.  On Track 101 is designed to inform you of who we are at Discovery and where we are going.  201 goes over some foundational truths of our faith.  301 centers around finding out who you are.  And 401 offers a game plan for joining the person you are with the church we are. The dates for the next class are Sept 19th & 26th and Oct. 3rd & 10th. The classes are from 6-8pm. Child care is provided. Growth Groups (Small Groups)
Growth Groups are about doing life together. Do you do something on a regular basis that you would like to invite others to join you in doing? That could be your Growth Group. The Spring Semester is winding down and we are looking for new Growth Group leaders to start the summer session. Would you like to coach a softball team? How about take some friends to the beach? What about a bible study at your house? Anything can be a group. Start a group this summer!

Volunteering
The majority of roles at Discovery are filled with faithful volunteers.  Currently there are 19 Sunday positions and 3 weekday positions available.  We are always looking for volunteers who have a heart to serve. We believe there is a ministry at Discovery where God can use your specific personality. We also believe that you will be blessed when you serve using your specific talents. How would you like to serve?  What do you like to do?  And what are you great at?  These are a couple of questions that we will ask you as we aid you in finding a volunteer position that fulfills you.
